Cancer is the second-leading cause of death worldwide, with 10 million people dying from cancer-related causes every year. More than 40% of these deaths could be preventable. That’s why Skillz partners with the American Cancer Society, helping them in their mission to make it game over for this devastating disease.

What is the American Cancer Society?

The American Cancer Society (ACS) is a nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem. Founded in 1913, ACS conducts research, supports patients and caregivers, promotes cancer prevention and advocates for public policies that help save lives.

Skillz will host three live events where all player entry fees will be donated to the American Cancer Society. The top three winners of each event will take home Amazon gift cards!
